About the Date Calculator
Whether you're planning a project timeline, counting down to a special event, or calculating your exact age in days, our Date Calculator provides precise results instantly.
How to Calculate Date Differences
To find the exact number of days between two dates, simply select your start and end dates in the "Date Difference" tab. The calculator automatically accounts for leap years and varying month lengths. You can also choose to include the end date in your calculation, which is useful for inclusive date ranges like hotel bookings or event durations.
Adding or Subtracting Time
Need to know what date it will be 90 days from now? Or what the date was 6 weeks ago? Switch to the "Add / Subtract" tab. Enter your base date, choose your operation, and input the number of years, months, weeks, or days you want to adjust by.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this calculator account for leap years?
Yes, our date calculator uses standard calendar algorithms that automatically account for leap years, ensuring 100% accuracy for any date range.
What are "Business Days"?
Business days are standard working days (Monday through Friday). Our calculator automatically excludes weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) when calculating business days between two dates. Note that public holidays are not excluded as they vary by region.
Why would I "Include end date"?
Standard date difference calculations measure the time between dates (e.g., Monday to Tuesday is 1 day). If you are calculating a duration where both the start and end days are full days of activity (like a 3-day conference from Monday to Wednesday), you should check "Include end date".
